Changing Voter Laws

Dear Delawanda Residents,

Whether you’re a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, please make your voice heard at the next election. It’s important that lawmakers hear from you and that you have a chance to make your priorities clear.

There are two very important elections in 2026. Information for each is here:

2026 Primary Election

Please note these important deadlines:

Deadline to register to vote: April 6

Deadline to update your voter registration (if you’ve moved recently): April 6

First Day of Early Voting: April 7

Election Day and last day for absentee ballots to be accepted: May 5, 6:30 am-7:30 pm

Please note the recent change to Ohio election law: If you choose to vote by mail, your absentee ballot must arrive at the Board of Elections by election day. The postmark no longer counts and there is no longer a 4-day grace period. You can drop it in the drop      box at the Franklin County Board of Elections but it must be there by the end of the day.
